Greetings from the Illuminating Alpha Beta Iota Omega Chapter! We extend a heartfelt invitation to any member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® who is contemplating reactivation or transfer to our chapter. Chartered in Grapevine, TX in May 2022, our chapter is nestled in Northeast Tarrant County, our vibrant and diverse membership lives throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area, spanning from recent graduates to those adorned with golden membership status.

At the Alpha Beta Iota Omega, we are excited to be on the journey to "Soar to Greater Heights in Service and Sisterhood." Recognizing the profound importance of service and sisterhood in our beloved sorority, we firmly believe that your presence can make a significant contribution to our shared mission.

Whether you're considering attending one of our chapter meetings, reactivating your membership, or transferring into our chapter, your participation would be a valuable addition to our chapter.

Membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., at the graduate level is by invitation only. College graduates who are seeking to become members in Alpha Kappa Alpha should visit the national website at aka1908.com for more information regarding the sorority and qualifications for membership.

1. What are membership dues for Alpha Beta Iota Omega?

Dues vary depending on your current membership status. To find out your exact payment, please send an email to our membership chairman at abioma.membership@gmail.com.

2. What do I need to do to transfer my membership?

Before transferring membership from one chapter to another, you must obtain clearance from your former chapter.
The Transfer Verification Form link is to the right. Please have the President and Treasurer of the last chapter you were affiliated with to complete the form and return the original to you. We encourage you to bring the completed form to our next chapter meeting. Please make sure you keep a copy for your records.
Before transferring your status as a General Member to chapter member, you must obtain clearance from the Corporate Office of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.
